DOMESTIC DISHWASHER MACHINE WITH DISPOSITION OF
HEAT PUMP
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a domestic dishwashing machine with a housing space for housing washing items, where the domestic dishwashing machine comprises a heat pump arrangement with at least one evaporator to evaporate a refrigerant and with a condenser to condense the refrigerant, where the evaporator and / or the condenser comprise one or more flat heat exchange elements at least in sections.
Generic domestic dishwashing machines are known in the state of the art and basically serve to clean and then dry dirty laundry items, for example, crockery or cutlery. During one or several cleaning steps, the washing articles are applied washing liquid (= water or water with detergent and / or rinse aid) to remove their dirt. To dry the washing articles, the corresponding domestic dishwashing machines have a drying system for the cleaned washing articles in which the air absorbs the water that adheres to the cleaned washing articles and, thus, dries them.
Both when cleaning and when drying, heat must be transmitted from a heat source (for example, heat or air heating) from the domestic dishwasher to the washing liquid or to the air entering the domestic dishwasher or circulating in she. For this purpose, heat exchanger elements made, for example, of metal and made as a coil, are already known in the state of the art. However, the transmission of heat between the medium flowing within the heat exchanger element and the washing liquid, or the air, to which the heat of the heat exchanger medium must be transmitted or from which it must be transmitted Heat to medium heat exchanger, is improvable.
The present invention solves the technical problem of providing a domestic dishwashing machine with at least one heat exchanger element, which advantageously perfects the known state of the art.
This technical problem is solved by a domestic dishwashing machine with the characteristics of the independent claim.

The domestic dishwashing machine according to the present invention has a heat pump arrangement additionally to a housing space to house the washing articles. The heat pump arrangement comprises a heat exchanger element that acts as an evaporator to evaporate a refrigerant and a compressor to compress the evaporated refrigerant. By means of the compressor, the gaseous refrigerant that enters the compressor is compressed during the operation of the heat pump arrangement, thereby heating up. Also, the heat pump arrangement comprises a heat exchanger element that acts as a condenser, in which the heated gaseous refrigerant condenses again, thereby emitting heat, which can be used for heating the washing liquid present in the domestic or air dishwasher machine entering the accommodation space or circulating there. Then, the condensed refrigerant is decompressed by means of an expansion organ (usually a throttle valve) and finally returns back to the evaporator, in which it returns to the gaseous state when absorbing heat, to be then supplied. back to the compressor.
According to the invention, it is provided that at least one or one of the heat exchange elements (preferably, all heat exchange elements of the heat pump arrangement) that are traversed by the flow of the said refrigerant comprise two surface elements that are connected to each other by sections in such a way that between the surface elements one or more channels for the current for the refrigerant are formed. At least one section of the surface element must have a width and length perpendicular to it that correspond to a multiple of the thickness of the section that extends perpendicular to the length and perpendicular to the width. Preferably, the length and width amount to at least 20 cm, while the thickness amounts to a maximum of 10 cm, preferably a maximum of 6 cm. Furthermore, it should be noted that the heat exchanger element may also be angled if, as described in more detail below, it extends over two or more walls of the domestic dishwasher. Also in this case, the heat exchanger element comprises two surface elements, which, however, in this case have two or more surface sections that preferably extend perpendicularly to each other. However, surface sections should always be sections that lie on a plane. In addition, the individual surface elements of a heat exchanger element should extend parallel to each other at least in large part, where a heat exchanger element can also comprise several corresponding surface sections.

10

30
At this point, it should be noted that only one heat exchanger element is generally described below. In the event that the domestic dishwashing machine has several heat exchange elements, which is preferred in the present application, then one, several, or all heat exchange elements may have the characteristics described below. Obviously, the individual heat exchanger elements of the domestic dishwasher can also be differentiated from each other.
In any case, it is provided that at least one heat exchanger element has one or more channels for the refrigerant stream. The stream or channels preferably have a circular or oval cross section. Furthermore, for each heat exchanger element there is preferably only one channel for the current, which extends from a refrigerant inlet of the heat exchanger element to a refrigerant outlet of the heat exchanger element.
Preferably, the channel for the current has stretches that extend in a straight line. Additionally or alternatively, the channel for the current may also have wavy or curved sections. As an example, the channel (s) for the current could be extended in the form of a meander or spiral. However, the channels for the current should lie in a plane that is formed by a plane of union of the two surface elements.
Preferably, the surface elements are, at least to a large extent, flat plates that are placed on top of each other and joined, for example, glued, heat-welded, or tinned. At least one of the plates comprises cavities, which are incorporated into the plate for example, by drawing or stamping, before the two surface elements are joined. Finally, the cavities delimit the channels for the current. The mentioned plates can lie on a plane or they can also have several sections, where each section lies on a single plane of their own, and the planes can extend, for example, perpendicularly to each other.
According to an advantageous improvement, at least one wall that delimits the space of
housing is formed at least by sections by a heat exchanger element. By
therefore, the heat exchanger element is not present as an element separate from the
individual walls of the domestic dishwasher machine, but at least one element
heat exchanger constitutes a wall of this or at least a part of a wall
correspondent. In other words, according to this advantageous improvement, the
inner surface of the heat exchanger element directed towards the space of

accommodation is visible from the accommodation space and partially or completely delimits it.
Thus, during the operation of the domestic dishwashing machine, the washing liquid circulating in the housing space (for example, during the washing operation of the dishwashing machine) or the air present in the accommodation space (such as, for example , during the drying operation of the dishwashing machine) they can pass directly next to the corresponding heat exchanger element and transmit heat or absorb heat from it.
In particular during the cleaning step, it is advantageous if the washing liquid absorbs heat from the heat exchanger element. In this case, the corresponding heat exchanger element can act as a condenser, so that the gaseous refrigerant inside the heat exchanger element condenses when heat is emitted to the washing liquid.
On the other hand, during the drying step, heat must be transmitted to a heat exchanger element from the air in the housing space, or from the water vapor carried by the air. Thus, this heat exchanger element must act as an evaporator of the heat pump arrangement. Preferably, a first wall or a part thereof thus constitutes the condenser and / or a second wall or a part thereof constitutes the evaporator of the heat pump arrangement. The wall that serves as a condenser is preferably the floor wall, so that heat emitted by the condenser can be transmitted to the washing liquid particularly efficiently.
According to another advantageous improvement, the accommodation space is delimited by a door and a washing tank, where at least one heat exchanger element is formed by the washing tank. In this case, the wash tank is preferably a one-piece metal structure, where at least one of the walls of the wash tank simultaneously forms a wall that delimits the housing space and serves as a heat exchanger element.
According to another advantageous improvement, a heat exchanger element formed by the washing tank and acting as an evaporator forms a side wall of the washing tank. Additionally or alternatively, the corresponding heat exchanger element may also partially or completely form a cover wall and / or a back wall of the wash tank. Thus, in this case, one or several walls of the

Washing tank not only serve as a spatial delimitation of the accommodation space, but simultaneously acts as a heat exchanger element, which is part of the heat pump arrangement of the domestic dishwasher machine.
According to another advantageous improvement, a heat exchanger element formed by the washing tank and acting as a condenser forms a floor wall of the washing tank or a section thereof. If the heat pump arrangement is activated by activating the compressor, then the corresponding heat exchanger element emits heat to the washing liquid that accumulates in the area of the floor wall. The floor wall may, for example, have a cavity (the so-called pump well), where the channel or channels for the current of the heat exchanger element can extend around the cavity.
According to another advantageous improvement, a heat exchanger element extends over at least two walls that delimit the accommodation space. By way of example, the corresponding heat exchanger element could be extended by a side wall and the rear wall. As an alternative, a heat exchanger element forms at least two walls that delimit the accommodation space, where the current channel or channels can extend only through a part of the walls. Preferably, all the walls of the wash tank are part of a heat exchanger element, where the channels for the current can only extend through a part of the walls.
According to another advantageous improvement, the domestic dishwashing machine has at least two heat exchangers, where the evaporator of the heat pump arrangement is formed by a first heat exchanger element, and the condenser is formed by a second heat exchanger element separated. In this case, each of the particular heat exchanger elements can be placed in the area that is most appropriate for the corresponding heat exchange. Thus, the heat exchanger element that acts as an evaporator should be arranged in the area of one or both side walls and / or the back wall and / or the cover wall, while the heat exchanger element acts as Condenser is preferably arranged in the area of the floor wall.
According to another advantageous improvement, at least one heat exchanger element is
arranged in the area of a wall that delimits the accommodation space, specifically, the
heat exchanger element is installed outside on a wall of the tank
washed and is in thermoconductive contact with the wall. As an example, the element
heat exchanger can extend parallel to a machine wall

domestic dishwasher The wall can be a side wall, the back wall, the cover wall and / or also the floor wall of the domestic dishwashing machine, or the washing tank that surrounds the accommodation space. By way of example, the heat exchanger element may be connected to the wash tank through a thermal contact. Thanks to the use of surface elements that form channels for the current or channel sections of a channel for the interspersed current, the respective heat exchanger element has a relatively large heat exchange surface, where, thanks to the thermal conduction of the element respective heat exchanger, the heat can be transmitted to the refrigerant or from it to the air or washing liquid that passes next to the heat exchanger element.
According to another advantageous improvement, at least a first surface element has the aforementioned cavity that partially delimits a channel for the current, where the remaining delimitation of this channel for the current is formed by a second surface element, preferably by a cavity thereof . Therefore, the channel or channels for the stream are not delimited by a single surface element, but are created by joining two surface elements, since the channels for the stream are always delimited outwards by two surface elements.
According to another advantageous improvement, the surface elements of at least one heat exchanger element are made at least in the area of the channel (s) for the current of this heat exchanger element symmetrically specularly with respect to a contact plane of the Two surface elements. The contact plane preferably runs in a flat plane. Therefore, each surface element preferably delimits basically half of the delimiting surface of the current channel or channels.
According to another advantageous improvement, at least one heat exchanger element comprises two surface elements in the form of metal or plastic plates, which are joined together in material drag, in form drag, or by means of an adhesive. By way of example, the surface elements, which may also be angled, could be glued if the corresponding heat exchanger element extends over more than one wall of the domestic dishwasher. It is also conceived that the surface elements are welded or tinned in points. In any case, the joint must be established in such a way that the refrigerant cannot leave the heat exchanger element in an uncontrolled manner.
The embodiments and improvements of the process according to the invention are explained in the description of the claimed dishwashing machine.
The embodiments and advantageous improvements of the invention explained above and / or reproduced in the dependent claims may be used herein (except for, for example, in cases of univocal dependencies or incompatible alternatives) separately or also in any combination with each other.
The invention and its embodiments and advantageous improvements, as well as its advantages, are explained in more detail below by means of drawings. In each case, they show in a schematic diagram:

In the following figures, they are only indicated with reference symbols and those components of a domestic dishwashing machine that are necessary for the understanding of the invention are explained. Obviously, the domestic dishwashing machine according to the invention can comprise other parts and construction groups.
The domestic dishwashing machine according to the invention (see, for example, Figure 1) comprises several walls (side walls 14, rear wall 9, cover wall 15 and floor wall 4) that delimit an interior housing space 1, which it serves to house the washing articles 2. To do this, in the accommodation space 1 there is, for example, one or more baskets for tableware 22. Also, there is one or several spray arms 21, with which it can be applied to the washing articles 2 washing liquid, ie water or water mixed with detergent and / or rinse aid, for example, during a cleaning step of a washing program.

For the supply of fresh water, the domestic dishwashing machine is connected to a freshwater network not shown through a water supply inlet 16. There is also a drain of the washing liquid 17, through which the domestic dishwashing machine It is connected to a sewage drain network, and through which dirty washing liquid can be expelled from the domestic dishwasher. However, before the washing liquid is discarded through the drain of the washing liquid 17, it is generally conducted first in the circuit several times with the inclusion of a washing liquid conduit 23, there being a pump of circulation 18.
In order to heat the washing liquid, the domestic dishwashing machine comprises a heat pump arrangement with an evaporator 3, a compressor 19, an expansion organ 20, and a condenser 5, connected to each other through a conduit of refrigerant 24. If compressor 19 is now activated, then the refrigerant present in gaseous form is compressed in the area of compressor 19. The compressed refrigerant continues to flow to condenser 5, where it emits heat, thereby condensing. Then, the liquid refrigerant reaches the expansion member 20, which causes a reduction in pressure. Then, the still liquid or at least partially liquid refrigerant flows to the evaporator 3. There, it extracts heat from the surroundings and, thus, passes into the gaseous state, finally reaching the compressor 19 again, so that the refrigerant circuit
In the example shown, the evaporator 3 is arranged in the area of a side wall 14, so that heat can be transmitted to the heat pump arrangement from the housing space 1 and, thus, also from the water vapor present in the housing space 1. In this case, the water vapor condenses, so that it contributes to the drying of the washing articles 2 during a drying step.
On the contrary, the condenser 5 is housed in a place where it does not have direct contact with the washing tank 13, which is delimited by the walls 4, 9, 14, 15 and by a door 12 shown in Figure 4 A reasonable corresponding embodiment is that the washing liquid is conducted directly next to the condenser 5 by means of a guide for the corresponding liquid, not shown.
According to the invention, it is provided that at least one of the heat exchange elements 6 that are part of the condenser 5 or of the evaporator 3, or that constitute such components, comprises two surface elements 7 that are joined together in sections such that between the surface elements 7 one or more are formed

channels for stream 8 for the refrigerant. Therefore, the channels for stream 8 are not formed by separate tubular ducts that are connected with a flat support.
In fact, two surface elements 7 are joined, for example, glued together, in the area of a contact plane 11. The channel or channels for the current 8 are generated by providing one of the surface elements 7 or both surface elements 7 of a cavity 10 which, after joining the surface elements 7, serves as a delimitation of the channel (s) for the current 8. Figures 2 and 3 show a corresponding heat exchanger element 6, where Figure 3 represents a section along of line A-A 'in figure 2.
Figure 3 further shows that either only a surface element 7 (the lower half of the heat exchanger element 6) or both surface elements 7 (upper half of the heat exchanger element 6) may be provided with a corresponding cavity 10.
Otherwise, the surface elements 7 may be made of metal or a plastic.
Figure 4 shows that one or more heat exchanger elements 6 can be installed outside next to the wash tank 13. Between the wash tank 13 and the heat exchanger element 6, or between the heat exchanger element 6 and a wall outside not shown of the domestic dishwasher machine, there may be an insulation.
It is conceived that several walls 4, 9, 14, 15 are provided with a heat exchanger element 6, which in turn can be connected through corresponding conduits.
However, the embodiment shown in Figure 5 is particularly preferred, in which the heat exchanger elements 6 of the heat pump arrangement, or at least a part thereof, are not installed next to one of the walls 4 , 9, 14, 15 of the domestic dishwashing machine, but one or more walls 4, 9, 14, 15 or at least sections thereof, are formed directly by a heat exchanger element 6.
Figure 5 shows in this context that the channel (s) for the stream 8 extend in this case within one or several walls 4, 9, 14, 15. The heat transmission between the refrigerant of the heat pump arrangement and the accommodation space 1, or the air circulating in it and / or the washing liquid circulating therein, is optimized in this case with respect to the case shown in Figure 4.
The channels for stream 8 preferably extend over several walls 4, 9, 14, 15. By way of example, it is conceived that the entire wash tank 13 is composed of two surface elements 7 angled one or more times, which form simultaneously one or more heat exchange elements 6 and the delimitation of the space of 5 housing 1.
In the other aspects, the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiment shown, but all combinations of the individual features described are as object of the invention, as shown or described in the claims, description and figures, and as long as a corresponding combination is possible 10 or reasonable from a technical point of view.
